Bellydance Teacher Listings Added |

A Bellydance Teacher/Dance Class section has now been added to the website.
Once registered on the site, teachers are welcome to add details of their own classes to the directory and can update the info as necessary. Each listing can only be amended or deleted by its creator or the administrator, but can be viewed by any visitor to the site. New entries have to be approved by the administrator before they can appear.
We currently have Spring 2009 class information for Eva Green, Nancy Dance and Michelle Kelsall-Singleton in various locations around SW London, Surrey and Middlesex.

Yes, the Belly Babes Forum is back after a five month absence. Share news and swap tips with other dancers, review workshops and shows, sell secondhand dance clothing and more! The forum is open to all, but to post you must be registered and logged in.

Bellybabes Dance Troupe to Perform at Fantasia in December |

The Bellybabes Dance Troupe will be performing at the Fantasia Hafla on Saturday 13 December, along with other student groups, soloists and teachers so do come along and give them your support! Tickets cost £20 and can be purchased online from JWAAD, together with tickets for the all the workshops .
In other Fantasia news, Princess Farhana will now be teaching workshops on both days, including Intermediate/Advanced Burlesque on the Sunday.
This year's Fantasia will be held at The Arts Educational School,4 Bath Road,Chiswick, London W4 1LY.

Members are now able to choose whether their profiles are viewable by everybody, not just other registered members.
For registered members, please log on and go to 'My Profile' in your User Menu and select 'Update My Profile' from the Edit button at the top. Scroll to the bottom and select whether to make your profile public (the default is set to private).
For members registering after 5/10/08, this choice becomes part of the registration process. Profile access can be changed at any time by going to your profile page.
Please note that your profile will remain hidden, even if set to public viewing, until you post a comment or blog.

There are a couple of new additions to the Belly Babes website:
New Photo Gallery
We have a new photo gallery for registered members. The first album contains photographs of some of the performers at the recent Shakers and Movers dance showcase. To view the photos, simply log on and click on the 'Photo Gallery Tab' in your user menu.
New Video Gallery
I am delighted to announce the launch of the new Belly Babes UK Video Gallery. Over the coming weeks I will be adding a range of Oriental dance and music clips to the site for you to enjoy. Some will be available to registered members only.
Registered users can add their own videos to the site and can also add dance videos from other sites such as YouTube. If you wish to upload a video of your own, please make sure it is in the FLV format and is under 20MB. You should also upload a thumbnail for it if possible.
